Assistant Manager - Sustainability Strategy - SCGP

Job Summary

Support SCGP's sustainability strategy by managing and analyzing ESG data, conducting ESG assessments, monitoring sustainability risks and opportunities, and creating ESG value to strategic customers and suppliers. Contribute to ESG planning, ratings, regulatory monitoring, and stakeholder reporting to strengthen SCGP's sustainability performance.

Job Description

• Consolidate, manage, and analyze ESG data for ESG assessments, ratings, reporting, public disclosures, and stakeholder requirements to strengthen corporate sustainability performance
• Lead ESG value creation to strategic customers and suppliers through Sustainability Partnership Program
• Support the development of sustainability strategy including Medium-Term Plans (MTP), and Annual Plans (AP)
• Monitor relevant sustainability laws, regulations, and emerging requirements, and assess their potential impact on the company
• Conduct gap assessments against internal and external ESG requirements and monitor progress on improvement actions
• Coordinate with relevant functions to collect information and drive ESG initiatives including data & AI adoption for sustainability
• Communicate ESG performance and progress to stakeholders, including customers, business partners, communities, and other relevant parties
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields. (Bachelor GPA > 2.70, Master GPA > 3.30)
• 5-8 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, operations, business development, strategic planning or related fields
• Experience or knowledge in AI, data management, data analysis, and reporting
• Knowledge or strong interest in ESG, sustainability assessment, ESG ratings, or sustainability reporting is an advantage
• Ability to analyze information, identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Strong coordination, communication, analytical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different functions
• Good command of English in verbal and written communication (TOEIC > 550)
• Willing to work onsite at SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (Bang Sue, Bangkok)
